The Kanmon Kaikyo Fireworks Festival is finally back for the first time in 3 years!

In addition to the beautiful night view of the Kanmon Strait, 15,000 fireworks will be launched from 7:50 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. on both sides of Shimonoseki and Moji.

The Kanmon Kaikyo Fireworks Festival is a summer tradition that began in 1988 to deepen engagement between Kitakyushu City and Shimonoseki City which are adjacent across the Kanmon Strait.

Let’s go to the Kanmon Kaikyo Fireworks Festival this summer!

There is a one-day bus tour that allows you to view from the Moji side.
